Albert Mehrabian

Silent-messages-Implicit-communication-of-emotions-and-attitudes-by-Mehrabian To follow up on the previous post, I would like to recommend one of my favourite books by Mehrabian, below is the reference:

Mehrabian, A. (1981). Silent messages: Implicit communication of emotions and attitudes (2nd ed.). Belmont: Wadsworth.

There is also an interesting interview with the scholar which can be accessed via the following link: http://wordsthatmovemountains.com/
(BBC Radio 4 interview with Professor Albert Mehrabian and Tim Harford on ‘More or Less’, August 14th 2009)

In this interview, Mehrabian is speaking about his research. What is remarkable is that the researcher does not consider his world-known 7%-38%-55% rule to be his greatest research achievement.

PS The A. Mehrabian has his own website which can be accessed via the following link: http://www.kaaj.com/psych/
